The E-flite® UMX™ Slow Ultra Stick is an ultra-micro "slow flyer" inspired by the classic "stick" models of the last decades and has been reduced in size compared to the Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m. This allows it to be flown in even more places and in smaller spaces - indoors and outdoors!

Introduction

The E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick has been downsized from the hugely popular Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m and is inspired by the ParkZone Ember. It is an ultra-small "slow flyer" that can be flown in even more places and on smaller surfaces! It is suitable for a range of 1S batteries for indoor flying in gyms, garages and other spaces. Or in light winds for flying outdoors almost anywhere. The UMX Slow Ultra Stick can fly slow and easy and can perform simple aerobatic maneuvers including loops. You can even install the optional LED light kit to fly in darker conditions and at night. You can also choose between two factory-assembled versions: the practical RTF (Ready-To-Fly) version, which includes a Spektrum battery, charger and SLT6 transmitter. The transmitter is equipped with a USB-C port for direct connection to a PC for easy plug-and-play use of the included test version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator. Or you can choose the BNF (Bind-N-Fly®) Basic version, which allows you to save money by using your own compatible Spektrum DSMX/SLT transmitter, battery and charger. Either way, you can fly almost anywhere in the time it takes to charge a battery!

Overview

The E-flite UMX Slow Ultra Stick is simple and affordable. It's also incredibly easy and fun to fly, whether for pilots with little flying experience or for experienced pilots looking for an uncomplicated flying experience unlike any other! Based on the more modern design of the Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m and inspired by similar "slow flyer" models from the past, it can be flown in even more places and in smaller spaces - indoors and outdoors. Use a 1S 100-150mAh battery to fly indoors in garages, conference rooms or gyms. Or use a battery up to 210mAh to fly almost anywhere outside in calm to light winds. You can even fly in low light and at night after installing the optional LED light kit (EFL-1113)!
The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version contains everything you need to fly in one box and is the perfect choice if you are looking for maximum prefabrication and comfortable flying fun. From the Spektrum SLT6 2.4GHz transmitter that you can use with other Bind-N-Fly® (BNF) Basic aircraft (which are compatible with SLT FHSS technology), to the 1S 150mAh LiPo battery and a convenient USB charger that can be used with a variety of power sources. You don't have to buy or provide anything extra! A BNF Basic version is also available for pilots who want to use their favorite Spektrum DSMX transmitter along with existing batteries and chargers. Both versions include exclusive AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technology, as well as a reliable propulsion system with a "pop-off" propeller mount. With the factory-installed control unit consisting of ESC, servos and a dual protocol receiver (DSMX and SLT FHSS) in the lightweight yet durable airframe, you'll be ready to fly almost immediately. Simply install the wing by snapping it into place quickly and easily, and you'll be flying in no time!
Although we recommend learning to fly with one of our specially designed trainer models such as the HobbyZone® Apprentice STOL S 700mm, the RTF version also includes a Steam® download code to download and activate a trial version of the RealFlight® Trainer Edition. The flight simulator features many of Horizon Hobby's most popular trainer models, helicopters and integrated virtual flight instructor lessons. This helps new and less experienced pilots successfully learn to fly by allowing them to train on a desktop PC at home or on a laptop! Simply connect the included SLT6 transmitter to a compatible USB port on your computer with a USB-C cable to fly for up to 100 minutes. Then you can purchase the RealFlight Trainer Edition or the Evolution full version to fly anytime and for as long as you want!

Ready-to-Fly comfort
The Ready-to-Fly (RTF) version includes a 6-channel transmitter with Spektrum SLT 2.4GHz technology and everything else you need to fly, including AA batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable 1S 150mAh battery for the airplane and a USB charger. That means you don't have to buy anything extra to fly! The included transmitter can also be used with other Ultra Micro/UMX (Ultra Micro eXtreme) airplanes equipped with dual-protocol receivers with Spektrum SLT FHSS technology. It can also be used with the included trial version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition model flight simulator and the "full version" RealFlight Evolution!
