Drift instructions:

Start slowly. Drifting is about style and flow, not lap times. As you gain experience, the speed will naturally increase.

1. initiate drifting by steering in the direction of the turn and using one of the following three methods:
• Quickly press and release the electronic handbrake.
• Quickly tap the brakes with the throttle.
• Press the throttle aggressively to spin the rear tires.

2. do not try to correct and counter-steer in the opposite direction when the car is spinning. TSM Drift Mode will countersteer for the driver.

3. apply the throttle smoothly to maintain speed and momentum through the turn. Do not worry about giving too much throttle. TSM Drift Mode will assist the throttle to maintain the drift angle.

4. use small steering wheel inputs between neutral and in the direction of the turn to adjust the position of the car within the drift height.

5. when it is time to change direction, turn the steering wheel in the direction you want the car to go.
• If the car has enough speed and momentum, it can turn and drift the next corner by itself. TSM Drift Mode will counter-steer again and modulate the throttle in the new direction.
• If there is not enough speed and momentum, the driver must initiate the next corner drift with brake or throttle inputs.
