Tiger I 131 (144 pcs)
The world's only preserved and functional German Tiger tank from the Second World War can be found in The Tank Museum in Bovington (Great Britain). It is the museum's biggest attraction and a real "star" among all tanks! The world-famous Tiger 131 was manufactured in 1942. In May 1943, it was captured by British forces during the fighting in Tunisia. After the war, it was transported to the UK and displayed in a museum exhibition where, after thorough conservation, it became a priceless souvenir and a living history lesson!
The miniature model made from COBI building blocks was designed on a scale of 1:72 and consists of 144 high-quality elements. When built, the tank is 11 cm long. Despite its compact size, the model retains all the important features of its historical role model! German markings are printed on the sides of the vehicle. Details such as service flaps and engine ventilation are also printed on! The tank can be moved thanks to the mounted wheels. The turret of the tank is also movable and can be rotated.
The model is perfect for a good start to your adventure with COBI building blocks. The Tiger 131 museum tank is also an interesting model and gadget for collectors. It takes up little space and easily finds its place on the desk at home, at work or on the bookshelf.
