The Super Sonicwake 48" is the newest member of a Deep-V family that began with the powerful Sonicwake 36". The Super Sonicwake 48" features a factory-installed brushless Spektrum 8S drive system that makes speeds of over 80kmh possible. Independent water cooling circuits for the motor and ESC keep the hard-working electronics at a safe operating temperature. You can choose a recommended LiPo option to maximize speed or extend run time. With the innovative Pro Boat SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) battery installation system, you can swap batteries in seconds.
Despite its impressive size, these and other features make the Super Sonicwake 48" comfortable to use and easy to maintain. The thick ABS hull can withstand big jumps and rough seas. When the break-away rudder hits a rock or other hard object, it rotates upward to minimize damage to the hull or hardware. The canopy locks in place with a quarter-turn quick-release fastener, so it can also be removed quickly and easily without the risk of over-tightening or losing screws.
The Super Sonicwake 48" comes in the popular design of the smaller Sonicwake, but with newly added graphics. As it glides through the water, underwater LEDs on the stern illuminate the wake and water splashes. Day or night, this is the ultimate RC boating experience!

SPEKTRUM 8S BRUSHLESS DRIVE SYSTEM
Race your Super Sonicwake 48" across the water at over 80kmh while the wake bubbles behind the boat! Its powerful Spektrum brushless system includes a Firma 160A Smart Brushless ESC and a 4685 950Kv 4-pole brushless marine motor. Simply add the recommended LiPo batteries of your choice to maximize either top speed or run time.

SPEKTRUM DX3 SMART DSMR 2.4GHz REMOTE CONTROL
The included Spektrum DX3 transmitter and SR315 receiver provide the range and reliability you need for big-water cruising. Thanks to the transmitter's integrated smart battery indicator, you'll always know when it's time to dock your Super Sonicwake 48".

SSL BATTERY INSTALLATION
With the user-friendly SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) system, you can mount your batteries in a compartment outside the boat instead of working in a cramped space. Simply slide the battery compartment into the hull where it locks into place. Battery installation takes seconds! Pro Boat has also included an additional set of large battery compartments for batteries up to 10,000+mAh.

To prevent the hard-working electronics in your Super Sonicwake 48" from overheating in the summer sun, Pro Boat uses a dual water intake rudder to keep cool water flowing through independent cooling water loops around the motor and ESC.

BREAK-AWAY RUDDER PROTECTION

The Super Sonicwake 48" eliminates that worry with its break-away rudder design. The rudder simply flips up when it hits a solid object, minimizing the risk of damage to the hull or hardware.

UNDERWATER LED LIGHTING
As the Super Sonicwake 48" glides across the lake at dusk, super-bright underwater LEDs on the transom illuminate your wake and water splashes. The included lighting system is another Pro Boat innovation!

WATERPROOF RECEIVER BOX
The exposed servo slots of an RC boat's receiver make it particularly susceptible to damage if water enters the hull. The Super Sonicwake 48" features an improved waterproof receiver box that safely and securely encapsulates your most important electronic device. The receiver stays dry for several seasons, ensuring a trouble-free remote control connection.

QUICK-RELEASE FASTENERS WITH ¼ TURNS
The Super Sonicwake 48" is equipped with upgrades right from the start! With these quick-release fasteners, you can attach or remove the canopy as quickly as possible with ¼ turns, without having to worry about screws coming loose. Seals on the inner and outer surfaces minimize the risk of water entering the boat.

GREASE COLLECTION AREA
Nothing is worse than too little grease on the flex shaft - but all too often excess grease leads to a mess inside the hull. The Super Sonicwake 48" has a grease collection area that catches the excess grease in a small area where it can be removed. This makes it easy to keep the inside of your boat clean.

FLOATING PROPELLER SHAFT BUSHING
This completely free-floating bushing allows you to lubricate the propeller shaft with a quick and easy connection. Simply remove one screw. The grease flows through to the shaft, while holes in the bushing keep the grease right where it belongs.
