The Pro Series batteries allow more capacity to be packed into the LiPo cells, enabling higher mAh and C ratings compared to similar sized battery packs. These batteries have been specifically designed for model aircraft where battery size is an issue in confined fuselages. These innovative cells offer a compact design without limiting performance or flight times.
The benefits of Smart Pro-Series Air batteries include longer battery life, better performance over the life of the battery pack and the peace of mind that your Smart battery is maintenance free.
When a Smart Pro-Series battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and status information are uploaded to the charger from its integrated microchip. You can view and set settings such as charge rates from the charger. All you have to do to charge the battery is connect it to your smart charger. The Smart technology takes care of the rest.

Intelligent automatic storage discharge
Spektrum Smart Pro Series batteries virtually take care of themselves. Pro Series batteries are factory programmed to automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The result is longer battery life, better performance over the life of the battery and the peace of mind that your Smart battery is maintenance free. The user can change the battery's automatic storage voltage settings at will.

Smart Battery technology
When connected to a Spektrum™ Smart Charger, a Smart Pro battery's unique parameters, status and balancer information are automatically transferred from its microchip via the IC2® or IC3® connector data cable. To charge and balance the battery, simply connect it to your Smart charger. The safe charging process starts automatically.

Simple and fast
Preset charge, discharge and storage parameters are automatically transferred from your Spektrum™ Smart Pro Series battery to your smart charger, so charging is as easy as plugging in the battery. The charge rate of individual batteries can also be customized by the user, allowing you to take full advantage of faster charging rate batteries. The battery's integrated microchip remembers the last set charge rate so that these settings are automatically applied the next time you connect it.

Data-rich
An integrated microchip enables each Smart battery to store important information such as battery brand, chemistry, cell count, capacity, number of charge cycles, number of discharges, C-rate, battery temperature and internal resistance. In addition, each battery stores a log of unwanted events such as overcharging, over-discharging and over-temperature. This allows you to make the most informed decision about each battery when preparing your equipment for the next flying day.
