Spektrum™ S250 AC 2x50W Smart Charger
With up to 50W of power per charging output or 80W on one output for even faster charging, plus the ability to charge batteries via the integrated IC3® or IC5® connectors, the Spektrum™ Smart S250 2x50W charger offers a versatile and truly hassle-free charging experience. The S250 charger works with virtually any RC battery and is backwards compatible with EC3™ and EC5™ connectors. Use it with Smart G1 or G2 batteries and you'll be amazed by its incredible functionality and performance.

The S250 Smart AC charger makes battery charging easier than ever before. Its Auto Charge function recognizes the parameters of your Smart battery, such as chemistry type and charge rate, and automatically starts charging safely and correctly when the charging cable is connected. A clock on the charger screen counts down the time until your Smart battery is fully charged and ready for use.

Balancing Smart G2 LiPos is just as easy. The S250 charger balances your Smart G2 LiPo batteries using the same single IC connector used for charging. No separate, confusing balancing cables are required.

The S250 Smart AC Charger's user interface features modern, intuitive menus, icons and navigation tools. Its clear, easy-to-understand indicators for Smart battery history and performance provide the information you need to make the best decisions about your batteries as you assemble your equipment for a day at the flying field or the track.

The USB-C port is used for firmware updates, so you always have the latest software version. The S250 Smart AC Charger also features a fan, detachable power cord and a sleek case that fits perfectly on your workbench and in your starter box.

Riders benefit from the smart advantages of using Spektrum™ Smart G2 50C LiPo batteries. New "Generation 2" features make these LiPo packs - with a constant 50C capacity - even easier and safer to use with your Smart charger.

Spektrum™ Smart G2 technology, for example, makes it much easier to charge your LiPo batteries. Information is exchanged via a single cable in the innovative IC3® or IC5® connector of each Smart G2 battery. This means that only a single plug connection is required and the balancer cable is no longer necessary.

Smart G2 batteries are factory programmed to automatically discharge to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The benefits are longer battery life, better performance over the life of the pack and peace of mind because your Smart battery is maintenance free. You can change the settings for the automatic discharge of the battery at any time according to your own requirements. G2 batteries also offer a discharge rate to stock voltage that is three times faster than previous G1 smart batteries.

As with other Smart batteries, you only need to change the charge setting if you really want to. When a Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, its specific charging parameters and health status are transferred from the battery's integrated memory microchip to the charger. You can read and define settings such as charging rates on the charger. All you have to do to charge the battery is connect it to the Smart charger and the Smart technology does the rest.
