Description
With the new SW-2290SG servo from SAVOX, the Taiwanese manufacturer Savöx has achieved a revolution in servo technology. The patented design of this monster provides up to 35 % more power with proven standard installation dimensions. The SW-2290SG is waterproof to IP 67 and therefore perfect for tough use in large-scale model making.
The torque of this monster leaves nothing to be desired, here are the technical specifications at 6, 7.4 and 8.4V
6V = 45kg*cm with a positioning time of 0.16s/60°
7.4V = 55kg*cm with an actuating time of 0.13s/60°
8.4V = 70kg*cm with an actuating time of 0.11s/60°
This has been achieved by integrating the brushless motor directly into the all-aluminum housing. In addition to a thermal advantage, this has opened up the possibility of installing a larger motor. A third ball bearing has also been integrated into the gearbox in order to optimally transmit the enormous actuating forces, and a fully rubberized servo cable is also standard in this servo series. It protects the servo cable from damage, but is still flexible enough to be laid neatly. The SW-2290SG is suitable for use in helicopters, RC cars and model airplanes.

Like all HV servos from Savöx, the SW-2290SG can of course be operated with up to 8.4V!
