WHAT DOES HV MEAN AT SAVÖX.
HV stands for high-voltage. Savöx servos marked as such can be operated with up to 8.4V voltage. The use of a 2s LiPo battery is therefore possible without any problems. All HV servos can of course also be operated with a lower voltage from 4.8V, but less power is available in this case.
With the SV-1261MG, Savox is launching an even more powerful version of the SV-1260MG, which has been tried and tested for many years. The SV-1261MG delivers an impressive 25kg of actuating force at 8.4V. This makes it more suitable than ever for all applications that require power, precision, speed and a backlash-free gearbox. The speed of the full metal servo with full metal gearbox is 0.08 sec / 60 degrees at 8.4V. Thanks to the 25-tooth output of the standard size, all standard servo arms can be used in any size. In the 15mm midi servo class, the SV-1261MG is a servo of superlatives and effortlessly replaces standard size servos with significantly smaller dimensions. This is made possible by the powerful bell-type armature motor, which is normally only used in servos in the 20mm class. The weight including cable is exactly 40 grams. The servo has a soft start, i.e. it moves slowly to the controlled position when switched on, thus protecting the linkage.
