SAVÖX SB-2280SG Servo

The SB-2280SG has been developed in close cooperation with the experienced Savöx development team and the best pilots in Europe. It is at the cutting edge of technology to offer maximum performance with the highest reliability and precision.
The result of months of development, testing and joint work in the laboratory, on the test bench and in real operation for almost 100 operating hours makes the SB-2280SG a new milestone in servo technology.
The all-aluminum housing provides the necessary robustness and durability and gives the SB-2280SG a high-quality and timeless look. The housing contains the latest brushless motor technology on the market, including a completely newly developed 32-bit mainboard. This ensures an unprecedented resolution and precision that is clearly noticeable during operation. The actuating force of up to 60kg*cm at 8.4V with an actuating time of 0.12 sec/60° leaves nothing to be desired and implements every control command directly.
Special attention has been paid to the holding force around the zero position; here too, the SB-2280SG sets new standards and can only be moved with brute force. Of course, the SB-2280SG also has a soft start, which slowly brings the servo to the desired neutral position when switched on to protect the linkage. The Sanwa SSR mode is interesting for RC car drivers, for whom the SB-2280SG is of course also perfectly suited!
In addition to the standard accessories, the scope of delivery also includes a high-quality aluminum lever, which is available as an SH-82 accessory.
Mounting instructions SH-8X lever:
Please first tighten the two screws for clamping the sprocket evenly. Then fit the M2.5 screw to secure the lever. If this sequence is disregarded, the lever may be overtightened!
The weight of the SB-2280SG is a genuine 83 grams including the complete cable.
The control frequency can be up to 333Hz, the center pulse is 1520us.
The SB-2280SG is therefore also suitable for use with modern gyros and stabilizer systems.
