Overview

The Pro Boat® Horizon Harbor Tug Boat is a prototypical-looking boat that lets you sit back and captain your own vessel or build the ultimate salvage boat. It's both a beautiful, full-scale tug boat for cruising your local pond or a ready-to-go salvage boat for the experienced racer. With a 700 motor and 40 amp controller that can handle up to 3s LiPo, this boat can be used as a scale tugboat, or you can use the detachable arms to turn the tugboat into a working salvage boat for up to 48 inch race boats. In addition, it has lines for two water cannons that can be put into operation by adding a receiver-controlled water pump. LED lights, a metal gear servo, a 3-channel 2.4 GHz remote control and receiver round out the package, allowing nighttime piloting with precise control and perfect radio communication between driver and boat.

Durable hull
A one-piece hull construction offers great stability. Molded composite material is much more impact resistant than fiberglass

Removable recovery arms
Transform the boat from a full-scale tugboat into a purpose-built salvage boat. A simple click-in assembly allows recovery of race boats up to 48-inches.

Scale Detail
Scale details offer as much realism as possible. Tires, a winch, a crane and other prototypical accessories on the deck round off the look.

Water sprayers
Working water sprayers, hosed and ready to take a water pump, give this boat the ultimate in realism. This function can be controlled via the third channel of the remote control. This allows the water cannon to be switched on and off at the touch of a button.

Oversized 700 motor
The powerful brushed motor provides more than enough torque to move large 48-inch internal combustion racing boats. The large heat sink ensures sufficient cooling during long recovery operations.

Pre-installed ballast
With this ballast, you can take the boat out of the box and put it straight into the water without having to add a lot of weight to maintain the correct waterline.

High torque servo
The high-torque servo provides the power needed to push a 48-inch boat back to shore. The metal gearing prevents the gears from shearing as easily as nylon gears. Waterproofing ensures the servo is up to the task in the boat without the risk of failure from getting wet.

2.4 GHz transmitter
The 3-channel FHSS 2.4 technology ensures a crystal-clear, interference-free connection between driver and boat.

Boat stand
The sturdy wooden construction serves as a display or work stand. Foam protects the boat's paintwork and can be easily stained to match any decor.

Scale LED lighting
Navigation lights support your rescue operations in the dark. The mast lighting provides a true-to-scale look and can also be seen from a distance.
