Due to its unique articulated wing design, the F4U Corsair is one of the most distinctive and recognizable US Navy fighter aircraft of World War II. This updated and improved version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features a factory-installed 3S and 4S compatible power system with an exclusive 70A Smart Lite ESC to provide more features and performance. The BNF® Basic version also includes a telemetry-enabled AR631 receiver with AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technology that makes flying easier than ever. The airframe now features the iconic blue color scheme and can be customized with separate decal sheets with MARINES, NAVY and other markings. Factory-installed rotating retracts with landing gear leg fairings and working landing gear doors take your scale Warbird experience to a new level!

This updated and improved version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is the smartest, most powerful and easiest-to-fly fully-equipped model of the legendary warbird yet! Better equipped for scale and sport flying, it also offers higher top speed and better aerobatic performance than before - and includes optional SAFE® Select technology for easier flying (BNF® Basic version only). The factory-installed brushless power system features a 70A Spectrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC, as well as a specially tuned motor and 4-blade propeller. This combination delivers plenty of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery or more airspeed and nearly unlimited vertical climb performance with a 4S battery. The ESC can transmit a variety of real-time telemetry data from the propulsion system, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more - with smart and non-smart batteries - and via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters. The lightweight yet durable, composite-reinforced and fully molded EPO airframe features abundant scale details, including sheet metal bumpers and a pilot figure. Functional scale features include factory-installed rotating retractable landing gear mechanisms with landing gear leg fairings and functional flaps. Decal sheets for MARINES, NAVY and other markings serve to individualize the factory paint scheme. No glue is required for final assembly - which means the F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery!


Plug-N-Play® version
This Plug-N-Play® (PNP) version comes with a factory-installed power system and servos ready to connect to the compatible receiver of your choice (sold separately), as well as your provided transmitter and battery (also sold separately). Simply install the receiver, complete the final assembly and you're ready to fly!

Smart Technology
The F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC that transmits a variety of real-time telemetry data from the propulsion system, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others).

Versatile performance
The factory-installed brushless power system includes a 70-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite electronic controller and a custom-tuned motor and 4-blade propeller that deliver plenty of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery or more speed and virtually unlimited vertical performance with a 4S battery, with no modifications or upgrades required.

Plenty of scale details
The lightweight yet durable, composite-reinforced and fully molded EPO airframe is equipped with a wealth of scale details, including sheet metal joints, a pilot figure and more.
