The Lockheed® P-38 LIGHTNING® is a fast and heavily armed American long-range fighter from World War II. This unusual twin-engine aircraft had a nacelle with a pilot's cabin located between two fuselages. The so-called "flying frame" delivered very good performance, which was reflected in a long production period from 1941 to 1945 and an outstanding number of launches by American pilots. The aircraft was only decommissioned in 1965.

P-38 LIGHTNING was released under the original license of the American defense company Lockheed Martin.
