Off to a great adventure ? with the Hangar 9 Carbon Cub 15cc. A modern wooden construction with a 228 cm wingspan hides the heritage and versatility of the beloved classic. Scale details such as cockpit doors, interior, landing lights and scale spinner provide the typical and unmistakable Carbon Cub look. A low wing loading and functional flaps enable impressively short take-offs and extremely slow landings. As with the original, a shock-absorbing undercarriage cleanly absorbs bumps on the ground. With the optional 1/5 float set (available separately), flying on water is no longer a problem. The two plug-in wings enable practical transportation and the Quick-Connect struts allow easy assembly.

The replica of the bungee landing gear of the original Carbon Cub absorbs bumps on the ground ? just like the original.

A lightweight, robust and laser-cut construction brings the Carbon Cub 15cc to life.

UltraCote coating

The wooden construction of the Carbon Cub 15cc is coated with original Hangar 9 UltraCote film. The coating not only provides a great finish, but is also easy to clean.

No matter whether you prefer combustion engines or electric motors ? Hardware and mounting accessories for a variety of drive options are included.

Quick-Connect wing struts

The streamlined wing struts plug in quickly and easily, so you need few tools in the field.

Functional flaps

The functional flaps allow you to make fast takeoffs and slow landings ? just like the original Carbon Cub.

Landing lights

The model is equipped ex works with cables and LED lights in the wings.

Cockpit doors

The magnetically secured cockpit doors can be left open during flight, just like on the real Carbon Cub. You can also hide switches by placing them inside the cockpit.

Float option

Fixing points for mounting the Hangar 9 1/5 float kit (094HAN6030 ? sold separately) are already pre-assembled.
