The SCX10 ™ III continues to include key components that have made the SCX10 ™ vehicles so successful, but enhances the chassis realism with details such as a V8 engine mock-up for the front-mounted 540 engine. This is connected to a realistic transmission case and transfer case like in a 1:1 vehicle. The RTR version includes a Spektrum™ DX3™ 3-channel 2.4GHz DSMR® radio control system and a Firma™ 40A ESC/receiver. All the benefits of innovative Spektrum™ Smart technology at your fingertips.

The SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler transmission already has a third channel with a DIG function at the factory, with which you can lock the rear axle on the transmitter side to achieve a tighter turning radius with the front wheel drive. Alternatively, you can also use this third channel to set up the vehicle with a 2-speed gearbox to select between high and low transmission. To access the 2-speed gearbox and the DIG function simultaneously, simply add another servo and use a remote control with at least four channels (e.g. the 5-channel Spektrum ™ DX5).

New taller and wider, officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler tires on 3-piece beadlock wheels add more scale realism and more grip on dirt, rocks, and all other off-road trails.

MULTIPLE BATTERY MOUNTING POSITIONS

DIG GEARBOX WITH TWO-SPEED OPTION
With a 3-channel remote control, the kit's gearbox can be set in two ways: with high and low gearing or with a DIG function that locks the rear axle from the transmitter on command to increase the turning radius through the front wheel drive. With an additional servo and a 4-channel remote control, both options can be made available simultaneously. The gearbox has ball bearings and metal gears to ensure a long service life.
PORTAL OFFSET AXLE HOUSING WITH HYPOID RING GEAR AND PINION GEARBOX
Portal axles, as found in some original off-roaders, provide higher ground clearance and reduce torque to other drivetrain components to improve performance.

Mounted on the SCX10™ III Jeep® JL Wrangler, the R35 compound Nitto Trail Grappler tires are larger and wider (4.74 x 1.7), providing more ground clearance and grip on any obstacle that gets in your way.
ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM STRUTS
The oil-filled shocks have clear anodized threaded bodies, a single threaded spring and an emulsion cap with screw for easier maintenance. The shock absorbers are tunable to achieve the best damping rate. Their enlarged bore provides more fluid volume for better performance.
