ARRMA designed the 223S (two-to-three-S) series specifically for brushless bashing newbies who want to step up from 2S to 3S capability without adding expensive upgrades or buying a whole new vehicle. The TYPHON 223S BLX reaches top speeds of over 55kmh with a 2S LiPo, matching or exceeding the best 2S bashers from other manufacturers. When you're ready to go faster, simply install a 3S battery. Now you can unleash the short course truck's full potential of over 80kmh!
You decide how fast your TYPHON 223S BLX can go with the battery of your choice and how you set the throttle travel limiter on the Spektrum SLT3 remote control. With the throttle travel limiter function, the SLT3 automatically reduces the top speed to your desired level until you are ready for full power. Set the switch to 50% or 75% and you won't have to worry about going faster than you're capable of. Switch from brushless 2S to 3S speed with complete confidence.
The dynamic stability control (DSC) integrated into the buggy's Spektrum electronics offers another special advantage. With four selectable modes, DSC automatically corrects steering inputs as needed to improve your control, confidence and safety, whether you're driving on high or low grip surfaces. Once you have gained your first driving experience, simply switch off the DSC and benefit from the skills you have learned.
The TYPHON 223S BLX offers new and experienced brushless RC riders improved performance right out of the box. Precision aluminum, robust steel and composite materials combine to create an easy-to-maintain, extremely durable buggy design with a low center of gravity, high downforce rear wing and a wide track. All-metal differential outdrives and gear internals and durable composite slider driveshafts contribute to a reliable, heavy-duty 4x4 drivetrain that can withstand extreme brushless bashing. The all-terrain suspension package and adjustable, oil-filled shock absorbers mounted on composite shock towers absorb the bumps as the TYPHON 223S BLX races over dirt, tarmac and grass.

DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)
Another unique feature that makes the TYPHON 223S BLX buggy ideal for new brushless drivers is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) feature of the Spektrum electronics.

SPEKTRUM 2.4GHz SLT3 SENDER
The high-quality Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter is perfectly equipped for all drivers. Whether you're calling on 2S or 3S power, the ability to limit the buggy's maximum available speed to 50% or 75% allows you to increase your vehicle control until you're ready for full power. Four AA transmitter batteries are also included.

SPECTRUM ELECTRONICS
Carefree bashing, even in wet conditions. Both the Spektrum SLT 80A 2-in-1 brushless 2S/3S ESC and receiver unit and the Spektrum S662 digital steering servo with metal gears are waterproof. (Refer to the TYPHON 223S BLX owner's manual for details on waterproof standards)

SUPER-STABLE GEARBOX
The factory-mounted and installed heavy-duty metal gear differential transfers power from the brushless Spektrum 3100Kv motor to all four wheels for speeding through challenging terrain. The entire drive system is well protected and provides reliable performance on any terrain.

ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The independent suspension and oil-filled struts absorb even the hardest bumps. You can also adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance when driving over uneven terrain.

RACING BUGGY BODY
The body of the TYPHON 223S BLX Racing Buggy is held securely in place by a hidden body support system, making it even more realistic. The body is available in two bold, factory-painted color scheme options and features a high downforce buggy wing.
