The ARRMA VORTEKS 2WD is the most affordable 1/10 scale hobby quality stadium truck on the market. And it can be easily upgraded with LiPo batteries and brushless motors whenever you're ready to take the next step.
The VORTEKS offers more sophisticated performance than any previous ARRMA 2WD vehicle and offers the perfect combination of stability and agility. When racing in the backyard or local park, its wide track provides confidence-inspiring control at any speed. Novice drivers benefit from the easy handling to learn the racing line and precise driving techniques. Deep and sporty, the VORTEKS 2WD takes every bend without slowing down. The special tread design of the brand new dBoots Dirtrunner ST front tires makes jumping and cornering on rough surfaces easier.
If you're new to the RC car hobby, the included 2-channel Spektrum SLT2 remote control will help you learn the controls safely by allowing you to limit the top speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash the full power. Ride in wet conditions with confidence - the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit and high-torque Spektrum S660 steering servo are both waterproof (see the VORTEKS Owner's Manual for details).
Proven ARRMA technology gives the composite chassis the durability for driving on hard surfaces. The independent suspension, oil-filled shock absorbers and adjustable ride height combine to provide a smooth ride on uneven terrain. For unstoppable traction, the Stadium Truck's metal gear differential transfers power from the built-in MEGA 550 engine to the all-terrain rear tires.
As you gain more experience with your VORTEKS 2WD, you can also increase its performance by upgrading it with optional parts that are already available. Use the 2S LiPo compatible Spektrum electronics to supply it with LiPo power. The VORTEKS chassis has enormous potential to become a next-level RC bashing beast!

BATTERY COMPARTMENT ACCESSIBLE FROM BELOW
Time to change the battery? No need to remove the body or fiddle with body panels. Simply press the latch, open the compartment and insert a new battery. The fun can continue!

STURDY CHASSIS MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Thanks to the robustness of the chassis, you can send your VORTEKS over the toughest terrain with confidence. The simple but stable design does not collect dirt, stones or mud. It stays clean and light, which means more performance!

ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The independent suspension and oil-filled struts absorb even the hardest bumps. You can also adjust the ride height to increase ground clearance when riding over uneven terrain.

SPECTRUM ELECTRONICS INCLUDED
The Spektrum S660 digital steering servo provides high torque (84 oz-inch @ 6V) for precise steering. As your driving experience grows, you can increase the performance of your VORTEKS by using brushless power and LiPo batteries - the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC and receiver are of course LiPo capable.

STADIUM TRUCK BODY
The body of the VORTEKS Stadium Truck is held securely in place by a hidden body mounting system, adding to the exciting realism. The body does not need to be removed to change the battery, but can be easily removed if you need access to the on-board electronics.

SPECTRUM 2.4 GHz SLT2 2 CHANNEL REMOTE CONTROL
If you're new to the RC car hobby, the Spektrum SLT2 2-channel remote control will help you learn the controls safely by limiting the top speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash the full power. Don't worry about getting wet either - the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit and high-torque Spektrum S660 steering servo are both waterproof. BATTERY AND CHARGER INCLUDED
After a short 2-3 hour charge, you're ready to go bashing - and go long with the long run time. The included 7-cell Spektrum Smart NiMH battery with a high capacity of 3300mAh automatically starts charging safely when connected to the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart Charger. When it's time to upgrade for more bashing power, the charger and Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit are already compatible with 2S Smart LiPo batteries.
